Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ of the Judson Association, Thank you for your letter of July 20 in the spirit of loving Christian dialogue following the pattern of Matthew 18. We would be so pleased to sit with you face to face, to pray together, and discuss our mutuality in the Body of Christ. We would be privileged to share our understanding of the Scriptures you cited, why for us following Jesus leads us into the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists, and how this is consistent with our American Baptist heritage.
